Diving with Eddie ....
One of the biggest attractions of this scean site is its sea life. And there's no better way to watch it than underwater. Another of Bay Beach's exclusivity is the PADI Diving School is run by a German, Eddie Rupprecht known to everyone as Eddie. With an extensive knowledge of the sea and underwater life, Eddie has been living here for over 15 years or more and is in many ways more Syrian than the natives!
PADI stands for professional Association of Diving Instructors. The well-equipped diving school boasts of a two 27 foot boats as well as a 23 foot boat with a full array of scuba gear, masks, tanks and flippers.
Snorkeling equipment is also available to enthusiasts who want to make the most of the clear waters of the bay. For bigger crowds and longer trips a larger boat is available. Apart from Eddie, there are three other local professional Diving Instructors.
PADI Diving School offers a wide array of diving trips: Pleasure Dives that take you to many of the sites underwater, Safari Dive to many other spots were one could watch the coral and enjoy the incredible varieties of fish.
There is also the wreck dive where you could inspect the remains of a bygone era. Other facilities offered are boat riding, paddle boating etc, or one could even go snorkeling.
